What ByteFern is and what drives the site.
The first time I ran a demo-scene effect on real hardware and saw the scrolltext bounce off the scanlines, something clicked that no tutorial had ever clicked. Constraint doesn't limit the work — it is the work.
ByteFern is where that instinct plays out: editorial writing on agentic AI and developer tooling, side projects that range from puzzle games to MCP servers, and a Lab full of things that scroll and blink and compile on purpose.
I'm a tech lead by day, obsessive by habit. The dog endorses long compile times. The name holds the tension on purpose — a fern and a pixel grid, green bleeding into cyan, growth and precision as the same thing.
Not a CV. This is just the workshop.
